Benny Rogosnitzky– You’ve probably never heard of if him if you are not into cantorial music. And if you are familiar, then you will know that Benny is tantamount to Elvis Presley, Michael Bolton or Elton John – a singer with a difference who will be remembered for long.

Benny was born in Liverpool, England. Before he rose to become a superstar cantor it was Johnny Gluck the famous cantor of his time who spotted the talent in young Benny. Music lovers from across the world would term Benny as a singer with a inspiring voice which is inspiring and has the ability to modulate his voice with ease.

People felt that he was genuine, that what he sang was soulful. An Orthodox Jew he strongly believed in what he sang. The stories of his singing at a young age of 16, were people would throng to listen this young genius singing still talked about.

Benny Rogosnitzky accomplished his Master Degree in Music from Royal Manchester School of Music and Art. It was in the year 1996 that Benny attained the art of singing cantorial music. He was later appointed as the senior cantor of the prestigious Jewish Center on the Upper West Side; he continued to serve this organization for a period of 13 years.

It was twenty years ago, before Benny Rogosnitzky became a cantor, he was discovered by one of the other greats of his time Cantor Johnny Gluck. This meeting resulted in his starting the cantorial career as soloist. It was said that Benny has such a beautiful voice just like that several people would gather to experience the 16 year performing.

Benny was born in Liverpool, England and has worked with some of the best cantors in the world; well versed in classic Jewish Chazzanut Music and traditional chazzonus this experienced campaigner brings music to spiritual singing.

Benny Rogosnitzky was born in Liverpool, England. He completed his education in The Netherlands and Johannesburg. He began singing at an early age and by the time he was 16, he would be singing solo. It was Johnny Gluck, the world-renowned Cantor of his time who spotted the talent in Rogosnitzky and took him into his choir as a solo singer. Cantor Benny Rogosnitzky holds a Masters Degree in music from the Royal Manchester School of Music and Art. Being adept musically, Rogosnitzky once led the High Holiday Services at the prestigious Brighton and Hove Synagogue. The post of Senior Cantor of the prestigious Jewish Center on the upper West Side came to him in the year 1996. He later served there for 13 years.
